                 Restoring homes, lives, and communities

in the heart of the Appalachians...

Mission Statement

The mission of Heritage Ministries, Inc. is to help the folks of the Appalachian culture who have had their homes in their families for generations restore and preserve them while providing them with a dry, warm, and safe home to live in.  This ministry will provide an opportunity to individuals and groups from various churches from around the country, to share the Love of Christ with those whose homes they work in.  We know that by helping to form these relationships, we minister not only to those in need but also to those offering skills as volunteers, allowing them to grow into the vision that Christ has for each of us.

Vision Statement

Heritage Ministries' vision is to help the folks of the rural Appalachian area, through an evangelical Christian ministry  restore their homes, lives, communities and ultimately their heritage by supplying discounted prices in building supplies and also by doing home repairs through the Heritage Building Supplies & Restoration ministry.  Please learn more about these two ministries by clicking on their respective pages above.

Please also visit the Heritage of Faith Prayer/Visitation Ministry page to find out how you can partner with us in prayer on behalf of the folks to whom we minister to.

ABOUT OUR FAMILY
The Sims (Jeff, Linda, Lindsay & Jeff)

Hi!  Let me introduce our family.  There is Jeff, myself and our two teenage children Jordan and Lindsay.  Jordan is 16 and Lindsay is 14.  In response to God's call to come and help the folks who are in need of home repair, etc.,  we moved to Lynch two years ago from Rockford, Illinois.  Ever since then we have had many opportunities to witness and experience God at work in and throughout this area.  Many of the homes are in desperate need of repair, some are very close to not being able to be repaired and there are other folks who are handicapped, disabled, or who do not have the means to be able to do for themselves but God has a plan and we are so blessed to be a part of His plan.  It is our prayer that God would use our family to help make a difference, big or small, to those who are searching for aid with their homes, lives, families, and communities.

It is our hope that as you continue to browse through the website, that you will capture all that God is doing.   Please keep us in your prayers as you are in ours.  God bless you.
