MISSIONS TEAMS ARE NEEDED FOR 2010!!!
We have a constant list of 50+ families whose homes are in need of repair which conveys to 50+ opportunities to share the love of Christ while repairing their homes. Would you consider coming and partnering with us and helping the mountain folks have a safe and secure home to live in? There is a need for mission teams (skilled roofers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, painters, and drywallers) to come and help with home repair in the hills and hollows of southeastern Kentucky, especially during the summer to prepare for the winter months with the electric rates and oil prices continually on the rise. There are MANY who need help! Roofs need to be repaired or replaced, doors and windows installed, heaters installed, and bathroom floors that are falling in need to be repaired or replaced. The need for plumbing and electrical upgrades is a constant challenge as well. These are just a few of the many projects that we need help with. We know of folks whose roofs are leaking over where they sleep and are not able to get it fixed, power bills are anywhere between $350-$500 per month, widows on a fixed monthly income are struggling to make ends meet because of their high bills. Would you or someone you know be able to come and help someone in need? Is God calling you to come and be a part of what He is doing? Heritage Ministry Home Repair & Building Surplus Needs/Requests:
* PARTNERS to help support the store with its' operational expenses. This will enable us to keep the suggested donation prices at a minimum so the folks of the community who are able to make their own repairs can have the materials available to them at a low cost.
God has blessed us with the availablity of building materials and the truck to deliver them. What we need are the funds to pay for the gas for the truck. With the building season quickly approaching we would like to have these materials available as soon as possible. Is there any way you or your church can help us?

*Torch down roofing for roof of lumber store

*Donation of Bibles (KJV, NKJV, NIV)
*Trucking company to partner for deliveries of lumber

We would like to be able to invite the community to come and share some food, fun and fellowship this summer and the following is a list of items needed for our Grillin & Chillin in the Park festivities:
*Volley ball set/badmitton set
*Soft balls, gloves, bats
*Basketballs
*4-Square balls
*Frisbees
*Picnic tables
*Lawn Chairs
*Donations of paper products (plates, cups, napkins, etc.)
*Either a financial donation for or a donation of food items
*Teams to come and share in the fun!
The Toolbox Ministry has the following list of needs:
*25' Tape measures
*Channel lock pliers
*Crescent wrenches
*Screwdrivers with exchangeable tips
*Chalk boxes
*1 x 8 pine for toolboxes
*1" dowels for toolboxes
We praise God for the generous donations/contributions that have been received to this date for the various tools needed for the toolboxes! Please pray for His continued provision as we continue to follow God's leading to start up new classes in various areas of the Tri-Cities. A great big THANK YOU to all of you!
