WINTER IS HERE!!!
MISSIONS TEAMS ARE NEEDED!!!
Would you consider coming and partnering with us and helping the mountain folks have a safe, secure, warm and healthy winter?
We have an urgent need for mission teams (skilled roofers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, painters, and drywallers) to come and help with home repair in the hills and hollows of southeastern Kentucky, especially during the winter months and the electric rates and oil prices continually on the rise. There are MANY who need help! Roofs need to be repaired or replaced, doors and windows installed, heaters installed, bathroom floors that are falling in need to be repaired or replaced. These are just a few of the many projects that we need help with. We know of folks whose roofs are leaking over where they sleep and are not able to get it fixed, power bills are anywhere between $400 - $600+ per month, widows on a fixed income are struggling because of the high bills. Would you or someone you know be able to come and help someone in need? Is God calling you to come and be a part of what He is doing? There is a great need for our family to have dependable, road worthy transportation to and from out-of-state visits, etc. We currently have a minivan that is in need of a new control module and some other work. Please pray with us as we continue to look to our faithful Father for His provision. We can have a vehicle fixed or if God wanted to provide another one that would be wonderful. Either way, we would be thankful and praising the Lord!

* A dual-axle trailer for picking up material/lumber

We would like to be able to invite the community to come and share some food, fun and fellowship next summer and the following is a list of items needed:

*Donations of paper products (plates, cups, napkins, etc.)
*Either a financial donation for or a donation of food items
*Teams to come and share in the fun!
The Toolbox Ministry has the following list of needs:
*12 oz. Straight claw hammers with fiberglass handles
*25' Tape measures
*Carpenter pencils
*Speed squares
*Channel lock pliers
*Crescent wrenches
*Screwdrivers with exchangeable tips
*Chalk boxes
*1 x 10 pine for toolboxes
*1" dowels for toolboxes
*Bibles - NKJV or NIV
We praise God for the generous donations/contributions that have been received to this date for the various tools needed for the toolboxes! Please pray for His continued provision as we continue to follow God's leading to start up new classes in various areas of the Tri-Cities. A great big THANK YOU to all of you!

The S.O.S. Team Ministry needs your prayers! Pray for God's continued guidance and direction as He moves us forward in developing this ministry. Pray for the local churches and their congregations to have open hearts as we visit with them, that they would be receptive to what we share and that they will respond to God's calling. Also please pray for all team members, those who have committed already and those to come. Pray that God would use them and their skills/services to make a difference in someone's life, physically and spiritually. Pray for the folks of the community who need the help to hear about this ministry and be willing to open their doors.
