| EXCITING NEWS FOR LINDSAY! |
On November 25th, Lindsay was asked to be the Teen Representative for the Harlan County 4-H. Michelle Day, the President of the District that Harlan County is in, was the one to ask Lindsay if she would be interested in representing Harlan County at a statewide meeting in London, KY this Thursday, November 29th. Michelle explained that to be a teen representative you must go to the meeting where they will elect officers for 2008, discuss the state plans for 2008 and meet the other teen reps from the other counties in Kentucky. Lindsay immediately responded that she would like the opportunity to represent Harlan County and hopefully become more involved with 4-H. |
Photo of Lindsay and Jada | It was also mentioned that if Lindsay were to continue with 4-H and be involved over the next few years as an officer, etc. that she could possibly get a scholarship, that 4-H pays into, at UK to do an Equine Science program. The thought of going to UK and going into an Equine Science program would be aN answer to her prayers.
All of this has been such an encouragement to Lindsay and now she has recognized that she needs to train with Jada often. In order to be able to train with her she must be able to trailer her to the fairgrounds to work with her. Therefore, a horse trailer is needed and also Lindsay will need boots, western wear, etc. If you can help, please let us know ASAP. Lindsay wants to compete at the County level in May. Please pray with us that God will provide all that she needs to be a great Teen Rep and more importantly an ambassador for the Lord.
