ADOPT-A-CHILD
Prayer Ministry!
There are so many children in our community who need our prayers, children who are fatherless, motherless, hurting, confused, angry, hungry, lonely, and searching for someone to love them and for answers.
YOU can be one of those people who can lift them, their families, and their requests up to the Lord. How, you ask? Just contact me, Linda at 606-848-0550 or jot me a note in the mail (P.O. Box 821, Lynch, KY 40855), or e-mail me at wwjp4@bellsouth.net and let me know that you want to adopt-a-child to pray for.
When you volunteer for the adopt-a-child prayer ministry, you are making a commitment to pray for that child for a selected amount of time. You will receive the child's name, age, gender and any specific requests that are known to us that can be shared. You will receive this information in the mail within 7 to 10 days of your request.
Won't you please pray and see if God is calling you to help these children by praying for them? What a joy it would be to be able to share with the children that someone is praying for them and then when their prayers are answered to be able to share with them how much God loves them and that He will always love them and care for them.
We are still in the developing stages of this ministry but we did not want to wait any longer to get it up and running. Please consider signing up, all it takes is a little time each day with our Heavenly Father. Just think of the many opportunities we could have to share the love of Christ with God's children because someone took the time to pray.
